Playtime Snacks

The school participates in the ‘Free Fruit and Vegetable scheme’, where Reception, Yr1 & Yr2 receive a piece of fruit or raw vegetable at every morning break. Our Fruity Booty scheme runs for the Yr3 to Yr6 children, whereby each child can enjoy a daily piece of fruit for a small half-termly fee. Pupils are welcome to bring their own healthy snack for breaktime- we recommend fresh fruit or vegetable based snacks

Each child has their own water bottle available in the classroom and we have now introduced the ‘Cool Milk at School’ scheme for any child wishing to have a drink of milk each day.  Milk is provided free for all children under 5.

Behaviour Policy

Our Behaviour Policy has been discussed and approved by our School Council. Our pupils recognise the importance of following rules and appreciate how maintaining a clear and simple set of rules that are followed by all help to create a happy and purposeful atmosphere across school. Staff have high expectations of pupil behaviour and promote the importance of self discipline from an early age. In maintaining discipline, staff liaise with parents at the earliest opportunity should a concern arise and we look forward to receiving support of our policies and procedures from parents and carers. We firmly believe that this simple and consistent policy contributes to our safe and happy family atmosphere.
