We had an amazing visit from Mrs McDade, who brought the world of the Ancient Maya to life by stepping into the role of a Mayan for the day. She taught us how to play a traditional Mayan game and shared some fascinating facts — like how a pom-pom was used to make people cross-eyed, which was considered attractive and that trading was a huge part of their daily life.
It was an exciting, hands-on session that brought our topic to life!
