This half term our science topic is materials and their properties. This week in science we learnt about the different methods of separation: filtration, magnetism, sieving, decanting, evaporation and condensation. We applied our learning when considering 'Why is clean water so important?' We discussed why not everyone has access to clean water and children conducted an experiment where they had to try and clean dirty water using the separation techniques they had learnt.
