On Monday afternoon, the class had a fantastic time working in teams to build their own dens- which were fantastic! When constructing their den, pupils considered which shapes would make their den strong, how weight could affect the structure and how to ensure their structure would withstand wind and rain. As this was the seond time den buiding this year, students applied their learning from last time, to build larger dens with inner secure bunkers. Once all the dens were complete, we tested how waterproof they were. The students enjoyed toasting marhsmallows at the end of the session.
