The School Office hours are 8:30am - 4pm.
The School Week:
Children are in school for 33 hours and 20 minutes per week.
The School Day:
Bell: 8:55am
Registration 9:00am,
Playtime 10:00 - 10:15am (KS1) / 10.20 - 10.35am (KS2)
Lunch 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm
Playtime - 2:00pm - 2:15pm (KS1) / 2:15pm - 2:30pm (KS2)
End of the day 3.30pm
Class Organisation
Currently, our classes are organised as follows:
Cherry Blossom - Continuous Provision for EYFS, Y1 and Y2 (4, 5 and 6 Year Olds)
Silver Birch - Year 3 and Year 4 (7, 8 and 9 Year Olds)
Willow- Year 5 and Year 6 (9, 10 and 11 year olds)

Playtime Snacks
To encourage healthy eating, we ask parents to send children with snacks such as fresh fruit, dried fruit, cheese and vegetables (e.g. chopped raw carrots) rather than cakes, biscuits or crisps. All children in Foundation and KS1 (4-7 year olds) receive free fruit and / or vegetable snacks each day as part of the government’s free fruit for schools scheme.
A Relationship Approach to Positive Behaviour
Our pupils recognise the importance of following rules and appreciate how maintaining a clear and simple set of rules that are followed by all help to create a happy and purposeful atmosphere across school. Staff work hard to develop positive relationships in school and have high expectations of pupil's learning behaviour and promote the importance of self-regulation from an early age. In maintaining a calm and safe environment, staff liaise with parents at the earliest opportunity should a concern arise and we look forward to receiving support of our policies and procedures from parents.
We firmly believe that this simple and consistent policy contributes to our safe and happy family atmosphere.
