This week we started a new text, 'The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore'. We read the first few pages and predicted what we thought was going to happen. Everyone was excited as we hot seated Morris to get an idea of how he may have felt at different parts of the story. Everyone had their own views as to what happened at the end, however everyone agreed that it shows how important books are.
We then decided to become reporters and create newspaper articles featuring the events the storm of 'The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore'. The children included some fantastic descriptive language within their writing and took great care in presenting their work!
