For our Summer 1 departure day, the children didn't come into school... they boarded the Titanic!
Everyone came dressed as an Edwardian passenger, ready to travel to New York. The children had to show their boarding pass to Captain Smith (played by Miss Bartlett) and were placed on the boat according to which class they were, 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
We had a virtual tour of the ship once 'on board', had an Edwardian snack (jam tart) and played Edwardian lawn games during P.E.
