This week we visited our friends at Goldsborough Primary School for a special experience.
Itzil joined us for the day. She is a Mayan who came in to share what her life is like. We enjoyed writing like the Ancient Maya, reading their calendar, using their number system, playing Pok-a-tok and playing a game of Look. We learned lots of interesting facts. Did you know that wealthy Maya drilled holes in their teeth and added on gemstones? What an amazing day!
