This week we celebrated Departure Day by exploring our Geography and Science topics.
Our topic focus for Geography is: The Stone Age to the Iron Age. The children discussed how Stone Age people lived and how life changed in Britain during this period.
Our topic for Science is: States of Matter. The children were introduced to the concept of atoms (particles) and how they behave depending on whether they are part of a solid, liquid or a gas.
We all went into the hall and in groups demonstrated how the atoms behaved!
