Den Building

Silver Birch thoroughly enjoyed their den building experience with Chris.  Their first challenge, set by Chris was to create a structure that would allow water to travel down to be collected in a container.  The children worked in small groups demonstrating teamwork, speaking and listening skills, perseverance and resilience.

Their second challenge was to filter  ‘muddy’ water. The children needed to work together to identify which ‘natural’ materials they could find to act as the filter.
