Freedom Soup
Willow class enjoyed reading the story Freedom Soup. We discussed the meaning of freedom and our family traditions. Pupils were inspired by the story and Brian Moses poem ' Dreamer' to write and perform their own poem about changes in the world they would like to see. They spent time in the school library reading their favourite books and completing a library detective scavenger hunt challenge. They produced still life sketches of some of the ingredients in Freedom Soup and shared these with the school during a celebration assembly on World Book Day.
