Topic departure day- Willow

Willow class had a fantastic day with students from Goldsborough exploring Eden Camp. It was an amazing start to our topic on WW2- it really brought the history to life. During the day, going through the different huts we travelled from the beginning to the end of WW2 and learnt about a range of topics including rationing, the Blitz and propaganda. Children enjoyed seeing artefacts including a 1940's toy shop, watching a puppet show and exploring a WW2 submarine. We are looking forward to learning more about WW2 in class.
