Yorkshire Geology society talk

On Friday afternoon, we were lucky to have an informative talk of Paul Hildreth from the Yorkshire Geology Society. We learnt that Mauna Loa is the world's tallest mountain (if you count the amount below and above sea level).  We discussed how different types of mountains were formed and mountain tourism. This talk helped us develop our understanding of our half-term topic: Mountains.
