Exploring the shape and history of Greek vases
Our art this half term is inspired by our topic Ancient Greece particularly Ancient Greek vases. Children are focusing on developing their sketching skills as part of this unit. So far pupils have learnt about how Ancient Greek vases were made and what we can learn about life in Ancient Greece from studying the scences depicted. Pupils have also been studying the shape, pattern and tone used. Children will use this learning when designing their own Greek vase.
